This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Has anyone seen Donnie Darko??  Probably the single most Wolfean film I=E2=

ever seen. Sadly, after listening to the director commentary, I have little=20
faith that the writer/director has the kind of grasp on the mysteries of hi=

own work than I like to believe Wolfe does, but whadya gonna do? This flick=20
has strengths and weaknesses, but it also has what has to be one of the few=20
cinematic presentations of Wolfe-esque concepts such as time folding and a=20
protagonist who may or may not be being manipulated by forces of=20
questionable origin and morality.
