This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for.          I tend to agree with you. The Neighbor said Silk's spirit was=20
dying, not that it was dead. I've assumed Silk-43 continued on, but rather=20
dormant and wounded, while Horn ran the body. A new infusion via Pig would=20
most likely be Passilk-42, as you noted, and if Wolfe is playing with this,=20
it might factor in to the greater political wisdom Silkhorn shows after his=20
return to Blue. Silk-43 had not been a successful leader on the Whorl.=20
Silkhorn on Blue is quite successful, perhaps as a result of combining=20
wisdom both from his failures as Ur-Silk and what he had experienced as=20
part of Good-Pas. Something to consider.
