This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Incidentally, Mantis was surely too modest to mention that that fine publication Lexicon Urthus (also plugged at the same linked site -- http://www.op.net/~pduggan/lexicon.html) postulates, if my memory serves rightly, that Severian lives about 97K years in the future. But, of course, that point has been a subject of much recent debate. -----Original Message----- From: David A Baird [mailto:david.baird at skynet.be] Sent: Tuesday, July 16, 2002 12:55 PM To: urth at urth.net Subject: Re: (urth) First Mail That was too easy :-) I'd also seem some references to 'A Tale From The Wonders Of Urth And Sky'...???
