Silk-23 skidoo

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

This objection is so obvious, I'm surprised we haven't articulated it
before -- I feel like it's been in the back of my head all this time. =20

The only answer I can think of would be if Silk-in-Pig wants to go to his
Silk body more than any of the mainframe versions of Silk.

But in any case, I think Horn's motives are to restore Pig's sight and
allow Silk-in-Pig to get out to wherever he wants to go (like Scylla
wanting out of Oreb -- although note here that Scylla does not go from
Oreb back to Mainframe, but from Oreb to her original body -- so maybe
that analogy supports mantis's theory after all!)
