Digest from urth@urth.net

Jeff Wilson · 03 Sep 2002, 03:31 · from urth-v0209.mbox · original

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Newt Gingrich co-authored _1945_ with professional SF writer William=20
Forstchen. It was published late in 1995, but portions including a sex=20
scene deleted from the final text were released during the 1994 election=20
season. The convention appearance in Atlanta was most likely Dragon*Con=20
94 or 95.
