This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

What a rush to be reminded of Cordwainer Smith and Stanley G.=20
Weinbaum all in the space of a few messages. Both of these authors=20
had a much greater mind blowing effect on me than Wolfe, but that's=20
only natural because I came to both of them at a much earlier age. In=20
fact "A Martian Odyssey" was the first SF I ever read and I still=20
remember it vividly.
