This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

When the falling of the elm awakens Weer, he finds himself=20
in a room with a fieldstone fireplace.  He seems to have=20
been intermittently awake between his death and the fall=20
of the tree, but to have lived mainly in this room.  Where=20
is this room?

Consider its shape.  It's described as a long walled-in=20
porch, and it has a stone (fireplace) at one end.  It's=20
Weer's coffin.
