This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

The description of the sacrificial rite is very remniscent of
what is known of the rites of sacrifice in the temple at=20
Jerusalem, including the business about splashing the blood
on the altar, the regulations about what gets burned and what=20
gets eaten ... I'm admittedly making the assumption that the
Jerusalem sacrifice was typical of the Middle East; much of=20
Hebrew religion was, though repurposed for monotheism.

If these things are typical of Greek sacrifice, then I'm simply
wrong.
