Silk's perception of time

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Don Dogget, agent of SMERSH, emerged from an alley and dropped

Actually, I think this slightly reverses the usual understanding
of the relationship between God-in-Eternity and Time. I would
not say that God "is always NOW"; rather, I would say that God
perceives past, present, and future as always-already=3D20
simultaneously present before God. To say that God is NOW almost=3D20
seems to restrict God, to place God in the NOW, whereas I posit
that we want to say that no moment contains or can contain God.

With this I completely concur -- God/the Outsider makes those
moments "present" to Silk which Silk "needs" to perceive.
