This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Yes, that's perhaps THE weakness in Wolfe. Out of the 1,000,000+ items he=20
tosses into every novel, which are the clues? Wolfe gets frustrated that=20
people don't "get" what's going on, but it's his own fault for putting so=20
much stuff into his books and burying the clue-needles in such large haysta=
cks.
         But even so, the trip is always worth it!
