Quetzal On Urth?

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Hello again.  Just replying to my own message here.

Yesterday I asked if anybody had a transcript of the Gene Wolfe People=20
Online transcript, and Roy Lackey was kind enough to e-mail it to me.=20
 (Thanks, Roy!)  Here's a quote of interest from that transcript for=20
everybody that's been following this Quetzal-on-Urth discussion:

   one of his kind, but the Inhumi are rare on the Whorl.

I still believe it to be relatively clear from the text that Quetzal is=20
a late boarder, but maybe this will convince some of the doubters.=20
 Crush, don't you have to give in now?  Or do you believe Gene Wolfe to=20
be so sadistic as to outright lie about his own books?
