I recant. but I wasn't REALLY wrong

Nigel Price · 17 Dec 2002, 10:49 · from urth-v0212.mbox · original

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

*Please*, Marc, stop being a tease and pass on what GW said to you! I for
one would love to know what on Urth the Short Sun books are about!

Could you cut and paste his messages in their entirety and post them on the
list (sans e-mail address, of course)? Or could you post them to me
off-list, if you would prefer?

To have lurked here so dilligently and for so long and then to be denied
enlightenment is a prospect I find hard to face...

Nigel (clueless in the mud of Minety - but at least he now knows who has
been moving the furniture around while he wasn't looking...Thanks, Don!)
