Jack Vance or There are Doors?

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Well, I'm glad to see if I turn to There are Doors next I'll have some
company on my voyage. The mundane comment was sort of a fear I had moving
beyond the Urth universe -- Wolfe did such a spectacular job creating that
universe you have to wonder how many times he can come close to such a feat
when he starts from scratch on a non-Urth world. Still, I think I may make
There are Doors my next challenge. Thanks, Teflon.
