This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

While we're talking about the Green Man, I'll take the opportunity to ask=20
a question which has been bugging me about the New Sun for a long time.
This may be something people have already figured out, but I couldn't
find it mentioned by googling on the archives here.

I don't have the book handy, but when Agia and the Green Man rescue=20
Severian, doesn't the Green Man promise Severian he'll look for another=20
time when he was imprisoned, and release him?  When does he do this?

The Green Man does seem to show up earlier when Severian is imprisoned
in the Antechamber, but this doesn't qualify, because Severian gets out=20
by himself (with some help from Thecla). =20
