The Wizard Knight: progress

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

So, do we know approximately how big _The Wizard Knight_ will be in the=20
end? I remember that someone quoted Wolfe a while back, when he was still=20
working on the first draft, as saying that he had done 1100+ pages=20
(manuscript pages I presume) with much more to come. Does anyone know how=20
many pages the first draft finally ended up being, or how many pages the=20
final draft of _The Knight_ is? What would this say about the number of=20
pages in the final book?
