This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Three points:

instead of CMF, how about TSF (theological speculative fiction)

WRT the end of _TAD_, Horn in _OBW_ muses that if he returned to life with
Nettle on The Lizard, one night he might walk out and go out to sea to
never return, and later that dying on the rocks trying to approach a siren
might be the culmination of his life (is it misogynist to have a=20
female character who leads men to their deaths and then eats them?).  And=20
are there Greek demigods who had so much dealing with demons?  I am=20
strongly reminded of Chinese folk stories (and Monkey...and _Lord of=20
Light_).

Arete -- I like fishspine, but I thought we (:)) had decided it pretty=20
clearly refers to the classical (ie pre-Christian) virtues.=20
