Sign from the fish's belly

Tami Whitehead · 28 Jan 2003, 20:42 · from urth-v0301.mbox · original

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Dear Nutria,=20

I bow to your learned opinions regarding the Old and
New Testament (and I share your interest in gematria,
btw, p'raps we can discuss such things another time
and place). I agree that there is a lot more going on
in Jonah, as you said.=20

I am not contesting your interpretation of the symbols
therein, which I largely agree with. I only pointed
out the things I pointed out, for the reasons I gave,
namely, that some seemed to be under the impression
the sign of the fish was 'seen' by the Ninevites...
