"Castaway" with Spoilers

Dan'l Danehy-Oakes · 07 Feb 2003, 18:27 · from urth-v0302.mbox · original

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Huh?!? Sputter!?!=3D20

You know, the question of what sex (or age, or race, or any=3D20
other physical characteristic) of the narrator never came up=3D20
in my mind. Not once. In two readings less than two days=3D20
apart ...=3D20

So, uh, any particular reason for thinking this? (I don't
think the "I love you" is intended that way...)
