The Book of Typhon part two: Silk as Typhon

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Hello fellow Wolfeans! I'm new to the Urth group, and trying to catch up=20
with the various correspondence. Don, I liked the discovery in Graves of a=20
reference to a red beard as "Typhonic." I had not considered that Silk mig=
ht=20
be a clone of Typhon; that makes a good deal of sense. I have read the Boo=
k=20
of the Long Sun only twice, and while I don't ponder the relations in the=20
books too much (preferring instead the experience of the whole world to was=
h=20
over me), there surely is some direct relationship between Pas and Silk.

As I said, I'm new, and I'd like my group name to be something that, though=
 a=20
small reference from Citadel of the Autarch, means something rather more=20
significant to me (and has nothing to do with Wolfe). Readers of Gene Wolf=
e,=20
of course, won't need any explanation of what my name means.

Call me

the Falchion

ps: what is the advance word on "The Wizard" and "The Knight"?
