This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Both are real plays: "Mary Rose" by J. M. Barrie (1920) and "Visit to a=20
Small Planet" by Gore Vidal (1957). I had to read "Planet" in High School,=20
so I knew it was a real play and automatically assumed the other one was,=20
too. But I think you have put your finger on the reason Wolfe was familiar=20
with "Mary Rose" and decided to use it in SAN (aka 7AN).
