This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. What is the terrain like, in kwaZulu-Natal? Does it resemble the tropical
jungle of the scene in 'The Jungle Garden'?

Do Zulus use arrow poison? For that matter, do they use bows and arrows to
any great extent?

In the early twentieth century, what religion might the average Zulu be
expected to profess?

What was the extent of European civilization in kwaZulu-Natal in the early
20th century?
