This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Actually, the best example of this I've seen is -- surprisingly -- the "Bil=
l=20
and
Ted" movies. Both movies have sequences that involve the boys succeeding
because of things they haven't done yet; the escape from jail scene in the
first one, and the marvellous final fight with the bad guy in the second=20
one,
where they take turns explaining what they are going to do to forestall the
effects of what the other one has just said he'll do -- ending with the=20
obvious
point that only the winner will actually get to carry out his plans.
