Sev's not-so-perfect memory

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Perhaps this point has been made, but what is even more striking about the=20
contradictions is that this is the SECOND time Sev. has written this, and=20
evidently the SAME Sev. Wouldn't he catch these errors the second time=20
through?
         Which makes we wonder if they really are errors. I'd have to look=20
at all of them carefully, and I'm not rereading the books now. Is it=20
possible both other boys pointed out the pikes, maybe one first and the=20
other saying, "Yeah, look!" Is is possible Vodalus handed his weapon to one=20
person with the intention of its being handed on to a third? Are some or=20
all of these contradictions reconcilable?
         Maybe not. But given that they all seem to be "small" errors, it=20
makes me wonder.
