Malrubius' ghost

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

To be honest, I don't particularly like the idea of Silk even=20
resembling Malrubius.  That suggestion was more one of those from my=20
brain to the keyboard kind of things.  My only real point was that I=20
don't think Wolfe intended the aquastor Malrubius to be Silk,=20
retrofitted or not, and that Silk's appearance as Malrubius in RttW is=20
not at odds with this since it predates the appearance of the aquastor.=20
  It doesn't matter really whether the aquastor is the memory of=20
Silk/Malrubius or the actual Malrubius.
