Wolfe at conventions

silk tree · 27 Jul 2003, 14:37 · from urth-v0307.mbox · original

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I've seen him at WindyCon. He signed some books and was on some panels=3D20=

year's WindyCon, at least on this page:

Btw, when I first joined the list a long time ago, and people were=3D20
talking about whether the ghost was real, I reported that at this con,=3D20=
=3D

he said the ghost was real. After being here for more than a year or=3D20
so, and reading the discussions, I do not think you can take this to=3D20
mean that he said it was a real *ghost*. :) It could be a real=3D20
*something* or the other, but I can't actually remember if he=3D20
explicitly said it was a real *ghost*. Otoh, maybe I'm being silly.
