Double Dactyls, Anyone?

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Though you might not think it to look at my list output, I've been in a=20
terrible writer's block
for over a year, which broke recently and all sorts of stuff has been=20
pouring out (rather like
the fellow in the "Calliope" issue of THE SANDMAN). Which includes these --=20
don't ask me
why, but I woke up this morning with the beginnings of these, uh, things=20
ringing in my
aural cortex.

     Higglety-pigglety, Alice K. Turner
     considered Wolfe, Crowley, Wynne-Jones and Jack Vance
     endlessly pondering, microbotanically,
     whether their novels were plotted by chance.

     Hoccitus-poccitus, Andre-Driussi,
     while publishing volumes of erudite lore,
     on Gene Wolfe's vocabular armamentaria
     hoped that the market might bear a few more.

Okay, I'll shut up now ...
