This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

One of the few residual pleasures from my sentence (objectively
short/subjectively long) as a small press magazine editor/co-owner was
granted to me just a few weeks ago when I took up that book and turned to
the page where original publication venues are noted.  There I saw the name
of my wretched little magazine, "Aberrations."  Touching.

I was somewhat surprised that Jeffrey Ford did not include at least one of
the others I bought from him and published -- collectors take note!  I'm
thinking of "The White Man."
