This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I've been having a problem looking up the Urth archives today, so forgive m=

if any of this is repetitive.  I just got back from a trip - ran into Mr.=20
Wolfe.  He told me that he thought he was done with Wizard (book II of Wiza=

Knight) after the fifth draft, but that he is going through a sixth draft n=
ow.
 So I guess it's pretty close to being sent off.  He said that work on Sold=

of Sidon was slow, and when I asked if he was using any historical figures =

said Xerxes' brother.  I think.  I could be wrong.  Latro et al are sailing=20
down the Nile.
