This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Okay. Are ya'll saying that a generational ship *would* be required for FTL
travel?

Either way, the One Ship theory would not be bolstered since it would
require endless more groundless hypothesizing to imagine why the Cargo
should be transported generationally on Tzadkiel or why it would take
hundreds of years for them to arrive. Or how the ship got so out of control
that orbited the Green/Blue system for 30 years without unloading the Cargo
and why it hung around the system for another 30 years after unloading.

But... it would not prevent a my posit that the Whorl *could* be the
primitive, infantile Tzadkiel. OTH that sort of theory is helped mostly by
limited information, because of the inclination to recycle and re-rig the
data available.
