This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

No offence was taken, by me at any rate.

You seemed to me to be bragging enough about your knowledge of=20
physics that the "Humble" in "In My Humble Opinion" seemed a tad=20
ironic, so I couldn't resist twitting you on it.

But I should have resisted. It really amounted to nothing more than a=20
cheap shot and I apologize, especially as I know from personal=20
experience how tough graduate programs in the sciences (or I am sure=20
in any field) are.

As for the rest of your message, that will have to wait for later.
