This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Roy brings up Silk's clean plate.  I suppose I should have been more precis=

the fact that Silk eats very little and gets sick in winter seems important=20
somehow.  And he does say something about watching out for people who appea=

to eat only a little bit, I think.  It's hard to find quotes in the Short S=

books!  The unconscious nature of his consumption seems strange, as if he=20
didn't remember actually eatting the food.  Alas, no dogs or huses under th=
