This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

For me, one of the ummm metaphysical or whatever underpinnings of the Sun
books is that "soul" will take any opportunity it can to take root and grow,
pretty much regardless of the soil or seed. So the chems definitely have
souls, but we are not to think of their programmers as being in any respect
Creators. Rather, it is divine Grace, filling the universe to bursting
point, which latches on to these profane efforts and sanctifies them. Any
striving towards being "real people" brings huge & fast results.

Babbie, Oreb, even (perhaps) Silkhorn's staff, even the soul-predating
inhumi, especially under the influence of Silkhorn's charisma, but even
without it.
