Best order to read Sun books?

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I know people who've found it very difficult to get into 
the New Sun books but really enjoyed the Long Sun books,
and I think there's little enough cross-reference between
these two series that the reading order doesn't matter.
So if you have difficulty with the New Sun, try starting 
with the Long Sun.  Also, I think it's best to save the Short
Sun for last, as it's both the most difficult in certain
ways, and it references both the New and Long Suns.
