Generic Considerations

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

The reason I loathe Donaldson is because I felt like I was going to be sick fifty
pages into the first book in the gap series. I rarely stop reading a book, because
I don't think it's fair to form an opinion of a work without being fully aware of
it, but I put that book down pretty quickly. I felt like I was reading loathsome
fan fiction, and I wouldn't really want to read anything that he wrote.

Also the Gap book titles are sooooo bad.
