This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Judith -

I honestly don't think _5HC_ is very, well, musical. For one thing,
opera and oratorio tend to operate in a very linear sort of time
- a necessity, given the nature of music - and _5HC_ is anything
but. One could possibly write a libretto based on the story -
assuming one could reach some conclusions on just what the
story _was_ - but it wouldn't be _5HC_ in ways far more fundamental
than the way Peter Jackson's _tLotR_ isn't Tolkien's..
