This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Have you checked his asking price lately? Bottom Line: We get Leo (beefed u= p, even) and your can kiss any special effects bye-bye. Imagine BEN HUR without the Chariot race in the third act and you get my drift. We wan't this sucker before the cameras come August or we can write off a J= uly 99 release. Besides, Leo's on this Indy quirky thing--going integrity on us. Doubt he'll do it. By the way--who the hell is Gene Wolfe? Pulper? Pomper? Punner? Gimme the skinny on his track record, Last thing we need in a pitch is a boardroom fu= ll of Glazed eyes. Believe me, you say "Tolstoy" to Eisner and he goes smiley= on ya.
