Questions about Book of the New Sun

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

My advice is to just go with the flow, lots of stuff will be made more clear
later on, some other stuff won't.  I found reading _Book of the New Sun_ to be
a "project," like reading _In Search of Lost Time_, but like Proust, a project
that rewarded my efforts.  I have only read _Book of the New Sun_ once, but I
suspect it is very profitable to reread it, again like Proust, several volumes
of which I enjoyed more the second time around.  And don't be afraid to consult
the Oxford English Dictionary or google or something for those archaic words; I
found this helpful at times.
