_The Wizard_ by Gene Wolfe - too much like previous Wolfe

JavaJosh · 05 Nov 2005, 01:58 · from rec.arts.sf.written.2005.mbox

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I have to admit that I'm a little suprised that these reviews haven't
sparked more conversation. Is the subject uninteresting? Is my review
really that badly done that it doesn't inspire any critical thoughts?

Just curious (and I haven't and won't take offence if there are no
replies to this, either. :)
