Inhumi Secret

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

You know, I really like this idea. It seems somehow very right. The=20
only problem with it is that I really find it hard to see how Horn=20
could have used it as a credible threat against the inhumi. They seem=20
to have a pretty realistic idea of what humans are capable of, so I=20
don't know why they would be at all worried about Horn telling this=20
fact to anyone else. And way would anyone else believe it?

Frankly, after reading IGJ, I no longer believe that Wolfe has any=20
intention of directly revealing the secret of the inhumi in the last=20
book, so we will probably be able to keep up this guessing game=20
indefinitely.
