This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Found it! It's a tropical weed called mimosa pudica or sensitive-plant,
with little pink blossoms. It can be grown as an annual in the North or
in greenhouses, where visitors will be amazed at its ability to fold its
leaflets anong the midrib when touched. You find it wild at roadside in
some of the Gulf states--that's where you live, I presume.
