spam? also godling

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

and for some Wolfe-related content - I'm currently re-reading RTTW, and I g=
ot to the section where
Horn/Silk is sitting on the godling's hand. I think this has already been m=
entioned, but for me it
beggars belief that the illustrator could have misunderstood the descriptio=
n of the faceless man
with a hat like a claw (i.e. the godling's finger) so badly! Does noone fro=
m the publisher check
this sort of thing?
FWIW, I'm in agreement with those who think that Pig is a godling - I think=
 that the coincidence of
the description of his claws is too much.
