This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

It's not just "pulp." It's pretty much all of traditional literature.

Someone brought up the fact that so many climactic events are off stage,=20
and we only get hints of them. I can understand this as "Horn's" rambling=20
style of memoir writing, devoid of a Nettle to edit him. But it seems that=20
the children also write this way in their part of RTTW, and that's odd.

Also, the children's part of RTTW reflects the many times that Father=20
talked about his experiences on the Whorl. Well, how long did Silkhorn hang=20
around New Viron? I got the impression that he left right away, but maybe=20
he stayed around for a year or so, and that's why the good-byes are not=20
really needed. I guess it would have taken some time for the entourage to=20
be collected....

Thoughts, anyone?
