This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. My own explanation for Horn's Neighborliness, of course, is that he's part
Passilk, and Pas is selon moi a Neighbor--not that Horn's life has been
reconstructed/reconstituted by the technomagic of the Neighbors. The net
result is still the same.

Also: isn't the ring Oreb brings back a different ring? And as far as this
being the instigator of Horn's astral travels, he's given the original ring
early on by Seawrack, but despite access to an inhumu (Krait), never does
any astral traveling. If you wish to argue this is because he has not been
transformed by the Neighbors yet, why given him the ring in the first
place--since it's unlikely the Neighbors know Horn will eventually be
uploaded in Silk's body?
