Buying a sabretache

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

A quick Google search on "sabretache" turns up=20

The sabretache goes for 1.45 hectopounds.  It doesn't look like=20
something _I'd_ want to wear around town, but that's just me.  The=20
insignia part is bigger than the pouch part on this model.

If you don't want to go for replication, the item generally known in=20
the U.S. as a fanny pack sounds like the nearest contemporary=20
approximant.

I couldn't find a site specializing in the late Commonwealth period=20
of Urth. If I could I'd go for the _Terminus Est_ loving reproduced=20
even down to the signature of Jovinian on the tang of the blade.  If=20
they won't sell me one, I'll have them killed in a duel and claim it=20
as my victor's right.
