One Question for GW

Robert Borski · 16 May 1997, 16:00 · from whorl-v0005.mbox · original

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Breaking if albeit temporarily my long-held lurker status (and since alga
has already posed my initial question, "How long has the inhumu known as
Quetzal been aboard the Whorl?"), I'd like to ask GW the following: What is
the etymology of "Mamelta"?=20

Bonus second question that I probably will not be allowed: Who was (since
we are told in EXODUS she's recently expired and Nettle seems to have known
her) Hyacinth's mother?
