This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

In that book, the T of the Model T became the symbol of the state religion; the purely material becomes divine. The gammadion in Long Sun is just a set of screwdrivers that can be joined end to end for ease of storage; again the purely material becomes divine. In Brave New World I think it is a case of people having forgotten what the divine really is. As for Long Sun, Comely Kypris herself says that the Chapter was set up as a parody of the state religion on Urth. Michael Richman 380 Homans Av Closter, NJ 07624 mrichman at bc.cybernex.net
