This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

_They Have Scientists_

The May 31 issue of Science News reports that researchers at the Royal
College of Surgeons and Dental Science at Kings College in London have
found that BETUL NUTS contain large amounts of COPPER, a substance
which has been linked to cancer, liver disease, and SCLERODERMA.

What is it about this mysterious CHEMical which connects two seemingly
unrelated BIOlogical phenomena, so reminiscent of a marble urn
in which are planted both roses and mint?

	-r.
	(ok, maybe not THAT reminiscent)
