Peachy scarf!

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Wow!

I feel boorish saying it, but the scarf in Mattak's drawer (I'm sure that
is Mattak's drawer) is not necessarily peach-colored; the perfume reminds
Silk of a peach-colored handkerchief of Blood's.

I always thought that scarf would lead to something, but I thought it was
just another clue to Hy's perfidy, that she slept with both Oosik and
Mattak. But a historical clue....

But how could it be? The antechamber scene takes place centuries after
Typhon dispatched the Whorl. Doesn't it?

(alga, excited, gets up to join the dance, but trips over own cilia)
