This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

For my money, Pike's ghost is the ghost of Pike.  I think he's hanging arou=
nd
for the traditional reason: unfinished business in this world. It seems to =
be
connected with Mucor; his first appearance is just after Silk has seen Muco=
r,
IIRC, and only Mucor sees him the second time. There's a connection between
them, of course, which is in the archives but you may not have seen it yet.
Or you may have found it yourself, of course.
