Mucor creepy

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Alex David Grace remarks (in commenting on my original comment) that Mucor
is still creepy in _Blue_.

To clarify, my original remark was intended to refer to the way in which in
the course of _Long Sun_ Mucor becomes treated familiarly.  In particular,
by the time Maytera Rose is calling he "my granddaughter" the whole thing
seems very cutesy to me.  Not at all the frightening demon who has to be
exorcised from Orchid's.
